We have commenced the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme.
When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccine, you will receive an invitation by phone or letter. Please DO NOT contact the Practice to get an appointment, unless you have received an invite. Our telephone lines needs to be kept free for those patients who have urgent medical needs.
Spotting a scam - The COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge on the NHS.
The NHS will never ask for:
- your bank account or card details
- your pin or banking password
- copies of personal documents to prove your identity such as your passport, driving licence, bills or pay slips
If you think you have been a victim of fraud or identify theft, report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.

Our appointment system for GP appointments has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We recommend all patients ring the Practice to arrange an appointment.
You will be offered a telephone appointment in the first instance. The GP will contact you and assess you over the telephone. They may also conduct a video consultation if this is necessary. If the GP needs to assess you face to face, we are advising patient where possible, to attend the Practice on their own.
Please do not attend the Practice early for your appointment. If you are anymore than 15 minutes early for your appointment you may be asked to return closer to your appointment time. This is to ensure that we can maintain the social distancing which has been recommended by the Government. Your co-operation during this time is much appreciated.
Following Government guidelines, we recommend all our patients to wear a face covering when entering the Practice. This does not need to be a medical grade mask.
We continue to follow Government guidelines and you may see some changes when you arrive in Practice. These systems have been put in place to protect our patients and our staff. Your co-operation is very much appreciated.
The NHS across Teesside will be better prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases, if the public follows Public Health England advice.
The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff which may mean your patient experience is subject to change.
The new advice issued by the Chief Medical Officer is to stay at home for 7 days and your entire household should self-isolate for 10 days, if anyone in the household has either:
- a high temperature or
- a new continuous cough
Please do not contact the Practice, pharmacy or a hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
Use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service if:
- you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
- your condition gets worse
Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.

Everyone is being reminded to follow Public Health England advice to:
- Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze. Then bin the tissue, and wash your hands, or use a sanitiser gel.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
